Why the ministry was started
Seek His Kingdom Mission began out of a simple concern: many believers who sincerely love God are confused about what the Bible teaches. They hear conflicting messages about salvation, baptism, repentance and the Christian life. Difficult passages go unexplained. Over time, confusion about doctrine weakens confidence in the Gospel.
We believe the answer is not louder opinions but clearer teaching of God's Word. SHK Mission exists to explain essential Bible truths clearly, faithfully and simply, so that ordinary Christians can understand the Scriptures for themselves and stand firm in Jesus Christ.
The meaning of the name
The name comes directly from the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God.” Seek speaks of an active, intentional pursuit. His Kingdom is God's rule, made known in His Son Jesus Christ. Mission describes our purpose: to help others seek that kingdom by knowing His Word.
Our tagline puts the two halves together: Seek His Kingdom. Know His Word. We cannot truly seek God's kingdom without knowing what He has said, and knowing His Word should always lead us to seek His kingdom more.

Why Matthew 6:33 matters to us
Jesus spoke these words to people who were anxious about everyday needs. He did not dismiss their needs; He reordered them. God's kingdom and God's righteousness come first, and the Father can be trusted with everything else.
That is the posture we want to encourage in every teaching. When God's Word is understood and God's rule is welcomed, believers find a security that circumstances cannot take away. The verse is our foundation because it puts God's kingdom where it belongs, at the centre.
Explaining core Bible truths
Our teaching focuses on six areas that we believe every Christian needs to understand clearly:
- Salvation and the Gospel
- Jesus' baptism, crucifixion and resurrection
- Repentance and new birth
- Bible basics and difficult passages
- Christian living and discipleship
- The connected message of the whole Bible
We try to teach in plain language, to let Scripture interpret Scripture, and to be honest about what is clear and what is less clear. We do not present speculation as settled truth, and we encourage every listener to examine what we teach in the light of the Bible.
Independent and Bible-based
SHK Mission is an independent ministry. We are not run by, funded by or speaking for a denomination or institution. Our aim is simply to be faithful to the Bible. Where we have made our position clear, you can read it on the What We Believe page.
Online teaching and ministry camps
At present the ministry operates online through this website. Official video and social channels will be announced once they are ready. There is no physical location open to the public. We plan to conduct ministry camps approximately once each month at a selected location, where people can hear Bible teaching, ask questions and collect available study books in person. Confirmed dates, times and locations are announced on this website.
Free study books
Available Bible study books are distributed free of charge only at announced SHK Mission book camps, subject to available stock. There are no downloadable study books and no postal delivery at present; postal delivery may be considered in the future. Camp announcements are published on the Free Study Books page.
Seek His Kingdom Mission is currently an independent online Christian ministry. It does not presently represent itself as a registered trust, society or tax-exempt organization.
